Srinagar: Seven persons had last Friday gone to a nearby forest area of Athwatoo in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district but five of them returned home. The remaining two had lost their way as the weather turned hostile.
However after a lot of efforts on Friday, the body of one of the missing persons was recovered from the forests.
Reports said that two horses were also recovered from the area. Both are alive.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Qadir Bhat son of Abdul Raheem Bhat resident of Wuhan Athwatoo, Bandipora.
He was buried at his ancestral graveyard in his native village.
