Srinagar: Tehsildar Qaimoh along with sub-ordinate Staff visited villages Batpora, Kalipora, wanpora, haworah, Redwani, Batatachloo, Khudwani and Qaimoh areas of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
In village Batpora it was found that maximum paddy fields were submerged besides the vegetables have been washed away.
The residents of Batpora have demanded immediate relief.
The NT/Patwari cocerned were directed on spot to furnish the asami wise list of affected zamindars and submit the same within weeks time.
it is further requested that the Batpora Kalipora road is submerged and the inhabitants of the said villages are facing problems and on spot a boat was provided to both the villages.
During the visit of village wanpora,it was found that the water level has receded as compared to yesterday.
With regard to village Redwani the road from Redwani to Frisal is clear as of now after the removal of trees that had fell down yesterday.
However the PDD were not present despite repeated directions.
