Srinagar: Train service resumed on Monday after remaining suspended for four days in the Kashmir valley following damage caused to railway track on Srinagar-Banihal route by demonstrators on May 9 afternoon.
Train service resumed this morning and all trains will operate as per schedule, a railway official said.
He said train was suspended when some demonstrators damaged railway track at Panzgam on May 9, when train service was resumed after three days.
About hundred track-circuit operating clip (TCOC) were missing at Panzgam in south Kashmir after demonstrations.
The damaged portion of the track has been damaged and rain runs will resume from this morning, he said.
