2-Day Free Medical Camp Organised By G.R Beigh Memorial Trust Culminates in Lolab

Kupwara, May 14: A two-day medical camp which was organised by G.R Beigh Memorial Trust on May 13 upto May 14 culminated in Chandigam Lolab here on Sunday.

The day one of the camp inaugurated by Chairman G.R Memorial Trust Chairman Ishtiyaq Beigh, received an overwhelming response from local populace of Sogam, especially from old-aged and female folk.

Among the dignitaries present on the occasion included Editor-in-Chief Daily Tameel e Irshad Aakash Aamin alongside his brother and Editor of the newspaper Raja Mohiuddin and officials from medical department and civil administration.

The camp organisers had roped in a highly dedicated and professional medical team, assisted by a team provided by CMO Kupwara, who were available to the patients throughout the day.

 

The organisers extended its special thanks to Qazi Sarwar (Addl. Commissioner), Saleem Beg (D.G Intach), Chief Patron Fatima Rasool Beigh and also to Prop. Irfan Robbani (Principal SKIMS) and Dr. Mushtaq Rather.

The two day medical camp was also attended by Dr Ab Rasheed, Senior Medical Officer Lalpora, Dr Aashiq, Medical Officer, Dr Noor Ul Nissa, and former Trade Union Leader, former Assistant Director Food and Supply among other dignitaries.

Senior Citizen Ashraf Nissar hailed the G.R Memorial Trust for organising the event. “I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to GR Baig Memorial Trust, Tameel-i-Irshad for organising the free medical camp in these far-flung areas”, Nissar said adding “Such medical camps are need of the hour in these challenging times.”

The two day medical camp was organised smoothly with great response from local populace.

The people of Kupwara, including people of Lolab have expressed their hope that such camps will be orgainsed in future as well.
