50 CLU application approved at Anantnag

ANANTNAG : A meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Basharat Qayoom for approving Change in Land Use (CLUs) applications  at DC Office Complex, here.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Anantnag, Shoaib Noor presented applications received online.

Deliberations were held with stakeholders from various departments on a case-to-case basis.

Representatives from Revenue, RDD, Pollution Control Board, Jal Shakti, R&B, Agriculture, Industries, etc shared their remarks on the cases.

50 Cases were approved after all concerned departments shared no objection certificates.

Dr Basharat exhorted the officials to ensure cases are processed without any delay. He said that any application should be disposed off within the stipulated timeline.

He said that CLU policy is beneficial to the public and they can efficiently use the land resources. He said that the online process also reduces the need for physical interaction.

Emphasizing that departmental coordination is critical for timely processing of cases, he said that departments must ensure that comments are shared without unnecessary delays.

The meeting was attended by SDM Dooru, SDM Kokernag, SDM Bijbehara, ACR, ACD, SE R&B, SE Jal Shakti, Executive Engineer R&B and Jal Shakti, Chief Agriculture Officer, Tehsildar Anantnag, Tehsildar Bijbehara, DEPO and representatives from other line departments.
