GUWAHATI: Two people have been arrested for allegedly being “anti-Hindu” from different parts of Assam following the Pahalgam terror attack, taking the total number of arrests to 97 so far, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Monday.
In a post on X, Sarma said one person each was apprehended from Tinsukia and Nagaon districts.
“Crackdown on anti-Hindu elements continues… 97 anti-national and anti-Hindu culprits behind bars now,” he added. PTI
