DLSA Bandipora organizes Awareness programme on NALSA schemes

BANDIPORA : The District Legal Services Authority, (DLSA) Bandipora in coordination with Tehsil Legal Services Committee Bandipora and in collaboration with Education Department Bandipora organized two Legal Awareness programmes on NALSA Schemes, Concept of Free Legal Aid and Social Security schemes at Surinder Bandipora and at Govt Middle School Surinder Bandipora.

Day 5 of DA-JGUA witnesses enthusiastic participation at Satrina, Kangan

The programmes were held under the supervision of Chairman DLSA Bandipora, Khalil Ahmad Choudhary and guidance of Secretary DLSA Bandipora, Iqbal Ahmad Akhoon.
The program aimed to educate the participants about NALSA schemes, Concept of Free Legal Aid and Social Security schemes.
Advocate Wani Nawaz ul Haq and Advocate Nissar Ahmad Kumar as Resource Persons threw light on the various NALSA schemes to ensure the availability of justice to all. They also emphasized the significance of social security schemes introduced by the government to help the vulnerable sectors of society, such as senior citizens, women, children, and persons with disabilities.
They further highlighted how these schemes act as a safety net, ensuring basic welfare and financial assistance for those in need and also gave awareness about the 15100 NALSA Help line Number.
The programme was attended by Officers/officials, students of the said institution, PLVs and other participants.
