Kupwara: In a move to enhance agricultural productivity, the Department of Agriculture, District Kupwara, has inaugurated a Farm Machinery Bank under the HADP (Holistic Agriculture Development Programme) Scheme for the year 2024-25.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the village of Zurhama, located in the Trehgam Sub-Division of Kupwara, marking a new chapter in the development of local agriculture.
The Farm Machinery Bank will provide the farming community with access to a wide range of modern farm machinery, aimed at improving land cultivation and reducing manual labor. This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to modernize farming techniques and ensure better crop yields.
