DC Bandipora reviews status of HADP Emphasises sensitizing public about employment generation & other elements of the scheme

BANDIPORA: In order to speed up the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and guarantee its success in Bandipora district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Wednesday chaired a meeting with the concerned officers at mini secretariat Bandipora.

Day 5 of DA-JGUA witnesses enthusiastic participation at Satrina, Kangan

During the review, the concerned officers briefed the chair regarding the targets and achievements accomplished since the inception of the HADP in the district.
The DC assessed the status of various components including promotion of Niche Crops, Hydroponic units, farm mechanisation, designer plant production and other elements.
The meeting included in-depth discussions on addressing the challenges faced in implementing the programme, especially in remote areas and highlighted the significance of empowering farmers.
The DC asked the concerned to set clear deadlines for accomplishing specific objectives under the HADP programme and extend hand-holding to young and innovative entrepreneurs.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer and other concerned.
