MLA Kupwara, DC Kupwara Conduct Surprise Visit to SDH Kupwara

Kupwara : In a bid to assess healthcare facilities and address public grievances, MLA Kupwara, Mir Fayaz, along with Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, conducted a surprise visit to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara today.

During the visit, the dignitaries inspected various departments of the hospital, including the emergency ward, outpatient services, and diagnostic units. They interacted with hospital staff and patients to gather firsthand information about the quality of services and challenges faced by the institution.

Mir Fayaz emphasized the need for enhancing healthcare services in the region and assured the public that steps would be taken to address their concerns. “Healthcare is a fundamental right, and we are committed to ensuring that no one in Kupwara is deprived of quality medical care,” he stated.

DC Ayushi Sudan lauded the hospital staff for their efforts and urged them to maintain professionalism and ensure efficient service delivery. She also directed the concerned authorities to address infrastructure gaps and ensure availability of essential medicines and equipment.

The surprise visit was well-received by locals, who expressed hope for positive changes in the healthcare system following the intervention by the district administration and MLA Kupwara.
