Srinager police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered Contraband substances from them

Srinagar  : A Police party of Police Station Nawhatta under supervision of SHO Nawhatta Malik Naseer this afternoon, during a routine Naka checking near at Malkha chowk apprehended an individual under suspicious circumstances. The suspect identified as Zubair Ahmad Ahanger S/o Amin Ahnger resident of Kathi Darwaza , during his search Charas like Substance weighing about 40 gms approximately a contraband substance was recovered from his possession. On his disclosure one more person namely Bilal Ahmad Shiek S/o Gh Qadir Shiek R/o Tujgari mohalla was apprehended at Old Malka chowk and on his personal search a charas like substance approximately 80 gms were recovered from his possession

A case FIR No. 58/2024 U/S 8/21, 29 of the NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Nowhatta and further investigation is underway.
