DC Kulgam inaugurates Mega awareness programme at Aspirational Block Manzgam

KULGAM : With the objective of achieving saturation of various government schemes and transforming the block into an inspirational model of development, the District Administration Kulgam today organized a mega awareness programme in the Aspirational Block Manzgam under the aegis of Block Development Strategy.
The event, inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Manzgam.
As part of the programme, stalls were set up by multiple departments to showcase their schemes and services.
Registration counters facilitated on-the-spot enrollment for beneficiaries, and health check-up camps were also organized by Health and AYUSH Departments.
During the event, the DC distributed soil health cards, ration cards, sanction letters under various schemes, vaccination and dosing material and baby kits among the beneficiaries.
Addressing the gathering, the DC highlighted the ambitious target of achieving saturation of 40 key indicators set by NITI Aayog. He added that most of these indicators have already been saturated and instructed departments to focus on completing the remaining indicators.
He urged all line departments to work with dedication and coordination to achieve the set goals within the stipulated time frame. He also urged the people to take benefit of these schemes and programmes.
The programme witnessed active participation from residents, officers, and officials, showcasing a collective commitment to holistic development in the Aspirational Block.
Multiple sports activities were also carried out during the programme.
ADDC Bashir Ahmad Wani, JDP Zahid Sajjad, SDM Noorabad, ACR, ACP, CMO, CEO, BDO and other officials attended the camp.
