Handwara: The Power Development Department (PDD) Division Handwara conducted an awareness program on the PM Surya Ghar Mufat Bijli Scheme at Environmental Park, Handwara. The initiative aimed to educate the public about the scheme’s benefits and enrollment process, promoting solar energy as a sustainable power solution.
The event witnessed participation from all officers of PDD Division Handwara and Subdivision Langate, along with a substantial gathering of local residents. Er. Ayoub, Executive Engineer (Exn) PDD Handwara, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, providing detailed insights into the scheme and highlighting its significance in fostering clean energy adoption.
Officials informed attendees about the availability of online links for registration under the scheme, encouraging eligible individuals to apply and benefit from the government’s efforts to provide free electricity through solar energy.
The program received an overwhelmingly positive response, with attendees expressing appreciation for the comprehensive information and support offered by the PDD team.
