SDM Zainapora conducts surprise visit of Horticulture Nursery

SHOPIAN : SDM Zainapora, Jahanger Ahmad today conducted a surprise visit of Horticulture Fruit Plant Nursery and took stock of the activities of being undertaken in the nursery.
SDM was apprised about the root stock propagation of MM106/MM111 and M9 of the apple varities.
Spread over 97 kanals of land the Nursery is famous for Chandler walnut variety and the Cherry varieties of Stella, Kordia, Ragina, Sweetheart and Bing, and the root stock of colt of cherry variety.
The Nursery also grows High Density Apple, High Density Cherry, Apricot, plum, walnut seedlings, almond, and peach, etc.
SDM directed the concerned to improve the output of the Nursery products so that it can fetch a sizable revenue for the exchequer and also help the local growers.
