Kupwara Police Organizes a Drug Awareness Programme at Govt Higher Secondary School, Kralpora

Kupwara : Kupwara Police organized a Drug awareness programme at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kralpora. This program was aimed to sensitise students about the dangers of drug abuse. It was an effort to raise awareness against drugs and inspire youth to channelise the energy in constructive manner.

The programme was attended by Shivek Sharma Dy.SP(P), Ms. Goldy Sharma DySP(P), Raghav Choudhary DySP(P), Ms. Manisha DySP(P), Insp. Aijaz Ahmed SHO PS Trehgam and PGh Mohiuddin SHO PS Kralpora. Various dignitaries like Mohd Abbas Naib Tehsildar, Dr. Tasseer SDH Kralpora, Social Activists and Civil Society Members shared their views on Drug Abuse. Principal, Teaching staff and students of the institution were also present there.

Different Speakers discussed the present scenario of drugs in kupwara and its consequences at Physical, Mental and Social Level. They discussed various programs to reform the society and promote the youth towards Sports, Music and other recreational activities.

The Principal of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kralpora expressed their sincere gratitude to the Police Department for their generous contributions, which significantly enhanced the positive behaviour for the students. The efforts of J&K Police in promoting awareness about the negative impact of drug abuse were highly appreciated by the school management and attendees.
