T20 Cricket Tournament concludes in Awantipora; DPL Awantipora emerged as winners

Awantipora : Awantipora Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) organized a T-20 Cricket tournament. The tournament which was inaugurated by SSP Awantipora at DPL Awantipora today concluded with a colourful closing ceremony after the final match of the tournament .

On the closing ceremony, SSP Awantiporra, Dy.SP DAR and other officers of Police attended the closing ceremony.

The final match of the T20 cricket tournament was played between HCC Noorpora vs DPL Awantipora in which DPL Awantipora emerge as winners of the tournament .

The tournament was played on knock out basis. Ten teams from different areas of Police District Awantipora participated in the tournament with great enthusiasm, passion and valour.

While speaking on the closing ceremony, SSP Awantiporra said that J&K Police has always been on the forefront in providing platform to youth and guide them in following their goals by organizing different events across J&K. He also presented trophies to winner team and runner up team.

The Winning team was awarded with trophy, Cricket Kit and Runner-up team was awarded with Trophy and Cricket Kit.
Man of the Match and Man of the tournament award was given to Jamid Ahmad Sofi. Best wicket keeper award was given to Arshid Ahmad , Best Catch taker award was given to Jahangir Ahmad , Maximum Sixes award was given to Basit Choto ,Best Bowler of tournament award was given to Amandeep Singh.

While addressing the participants, SSP Awantipora thanked the participating teams for their sportsmanship and enthusiasm during the tournament.
