Srinagar : National Conference Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Hazratbal constituency, Salman Sagar on Saturday said that the shadow cabinet has no relevance.

He advised the opposition to play a constructive role rather than scoring brownie points.

Talking to reporters here, Salman as per the news agency said that there is a proper team in Legislative Assembly to ensure that no anti-national bill is presented and there was no need to score brownie points.

He added that the shadow cabinet by BJP has no relevance, but the opposition in the democracy can do anything and they should play their role as constructive opposition.

Salman also said that they are chalking out the ways to ensure complete ban on alcohol whether in this session or other. “We are in favour of its complete ban as Muslims. We are trying to chalk out a comprehensive plan,” he said—(KNO)
