DC B’pora reviews execution of CSR works for FY 2024-25, Action Plan for FY 2025-26

BANDIPORA : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, on Monday chaired a meeting to review the ongoing works under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of NHPC for the financial year 2024-25 and Action Plan for FY 2025-26.

The meeting focused on the execution of CSR initiatives of NHPC under the KishanGanga project and the submission of action plans and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the upcoming fiscal year 2025-26.
During the meeting, it was informed that an allocation of Rs. 92.08 lakhs was made for CSR works in FY 2023-24, while Rs. 155.67 lakhs have been allocated for the current financial year, 2024-25.
The DC emphasized the importance of timely submission of utilization certificates of allocated funds by the concerned departments by March 10, 2025, for the release of the pending 10% funds allocated for CSR activities.
Highlighting the importance of environmental sustainability, the DC instructed the relevant departments to submit a detailed locational plan for proposed environmental management activities, after proper field surveys.
In preparation for the CSR activities of FY 2025-26, Qadri urged the concerned departments to identify activities with focus on community benefits and impact areas.
He said District Administration is committed to ensure the effective implementation of CSR activities aimed at benefiting and improving the overall socio-economic conditions of the impact areas.
The meeting was attended by Head of Project (HoP) NHPC Bandipora, Lakhmi Chand, PO ICDS Yaar Ali Khan, ACD, CPO and district officers from various departments.
