Handwara : A piping ceremony was held at the District Police Office (DPO) Handwara to honor the recently promoted Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) who have now been elevated to the rank of Sub-Inspector (SI).

The newly promoted officers were adorned with their ranks by SSP Handwara, Shri Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhury, who expressed his happiness over their well-deserved promotion.

Congratulating the officers, SSP Handwara urged them to stay committed to their duties and ensure enhanced public service. The promoted officers pledged to continue working with dedication and enthusiasm.

During the vibrant ceremony, the officers expressed their gratitude to the Police Department for recognizing their efforts and granting them timely promotions.

The event was attended by several senior officers of the Police District, including ASP Handwara, SDPO Handwara, and DySP DAR Handwara, who also extended their congratulations to the newly promoted officers.
