Education Deptt Kupwara holds mega enrollment drive at BHSS Nagri Zone Drugmulla

KUPWARA : Education department Kupwara today organized a Mega Enrollment Drive in Education Zone Drugmulla, aiming to enhance student enrollment and ensure quality education for all.
The event witnessed significant participation from education stakeholders, local authorities, and the community.
The drive was graced by the presence of the Joint Director North, Hakeem Tanveer, Principal DIET Kupwara, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, DEPO Kupwara, ZEO Drugmulla and ZEO Kupwara. Teachers, parents, and students were also present.
The initiative focused on raising awareness about the importance of education and encouraging parents to enroll their children in Govt. schools.
During the event, officials addressed the gathering, emphasizing the government’s commitment to strengthening the education system. They highlighted various schemes and incentives available for students, including free textbooks, mid-day meals/ uniform and scholarships to support underprivileged children.
The speakers urged the community to take active participation in the enrollment process to ensure that no child is left out of the education system.
The Joint Director North appreciated the efforts of the education department and the local administration in organizing the drive and stressed the need for continuous efforts to improve literacy rates in the district.
Local teachers and volunteers also played a crucial role in the outreach efforts, conducting door-to-door campaigns to encourage maximum participation. Parents and guardians expressed their appreciation for the initiative, acknowledging the importance of education for the future of their children.
The Mega Enrollment Drive concluded on a positive note, with a substantial number of new enrollments recorded.
