KUPWARA : District Administration Kupwara today organized a vibrant and well attended ceremony at D. C Office Complex Kupwara here during which Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan flagged off two newly approved Ambulances with Advanced Life Support (ALS) and a School Bus for border areas of Machill and Keran to boost the health care and education sectors of these far flung blocks.
On the occasion, one each Ambulance with Advanced Life Support facility have been allotted to PHC Keran and PHC Machill to add to the existing healthcare machinery of these areas. Besides, a 20 seater School Bus have been allotted to Higher Secondary School Keran to facilitate the students. Both were the long pending demand of the local people of Keran and Machill which were resolved today by the District Administration.
Speaking at the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the District Administration Kupwara is committed to ensure development and welfare of all regions of the district especially border and far flung areas of Machill, Keran and Karnah. She said the Ambulances equipped with state of the art health care technology with 4×4 gears will boost the health care support in these border areas which have tough terrain and topography.
She added that such initiatives from administration will also continue in future as well with special focus on far flung border areas.
Referring to the Robotic Labs, she said two Robotic (STEM) Labs one each at BHSS Kupwara and BHSS Handwara have been established by the District Administration Kupwara which will inculcate scientific and mathematical temperament among students of different classes. DC said that the Robotic Labs have also been approved for BHSS Machill, GHSS Tangdar and BHSS Keran which will be established in coming days. It is the first of its venture in Kupwara where students will be motivated for AI learning.
DDC Member Kalaroose, Mustaf Rahie; CEO Kupwara, CMO, CPO and large number of employees and people were present during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, local people and senior citizens of Machill and Keran areas have expressed their gratitude towards the District Administration especially DC Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan for redressing their long pending demands.
