Drug peddler arrested in Awantipora; charas recovered

Awantipora : Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers , Awantipora Police arrested one drug peddler from Awantipora area.

During naka Checking at Padgampora Crossing, Police party of Police Station Awantipora under the supervision of SHO PS Awantipora arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Nazim Ahmad Mir S/o Ab Hamid Mir R/o Kawani.

The arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances and during search 120 gms of Charas like substance (in shape of Sticks) wrapped in maize husk was recovered from the possession of the persons.

Case FIR Number 100/2025 under relevant section of NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
