Let it be known, loud and clear: Kashmir has changed. Pahalgam’s pain has awakened the spirit of real Kashmiriyat. We do not want Pakistan’s tears, tanks, or terror. We want peace with dignity, harmony with pride, and a future free from the shadows of the so-called well-wishers. Let this message echo beyond the mountains: This time, Kashmir is not bleeding silently—it is speaking. And its words are louder than Pakistan’s bullets.
We have wept enough. We have buried too many sons, brothers, sisters, and innocent children under the soil of this paradise. The scent of gunpowder has long masked the fragrance of our blooming tulips in Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and Shopian. But today, something has changed. The blast that shook Pahalgam on April 22 wasn’t just a terror attack—it was a dagger thrust into the very soul of Kashmiriyat. And this time, we, the people of Kashmir, are not just mourning; we are roaring. Roaring against the real villain of peace—Pakistan and its deep state. They say they are our well-wishers. But what kind of well-wisher feeds poison to a blooming garden? What kind of sympathizer pumps guns and grenades into young hands and graves into young dreams? We have lived through decades of deceit, but this time, something is different. This time, every street in Kashmir reverberated with cries of Pakistan Murdabad. This time, the mask fell off. As a responsible activist of this land, I thought to reach out to the people from different walks of life to know their feelings and emotions regarding the current situation.

Enough is enough. We are tired of Pakistan calling itself our saviour while spilling our blood. The Pahalgam attack killed not just tourists—it killed the illusion that Pakistan stands for Kashmir. Their missiles now fall on our villages, our schools, and our elders. How can they talk about Kashmir when they burn its soul every day?

India’s Operation Sindoor was not an act of aggression—it was an act of justice. Terror camps in POJK have flourished for decades under the ISI’s shadow. Destroying them isn’t war; it’s self-defense. Pakistan’s response? Cowardly shelling on innocent civilians. They hit schools, not camps. They target lives, not soldiers. That exposes their hypocrisy.

Pakistan says it bleeds for Kashmir. But it only bleeds us. My son is nine, and he asks me why schools are shut, why drones fly overhead, and why bombs fall from the sky. The answer is one word—Pakistan.

Have you seen the lies they spread online? Fake videos, edited images, and false slogans, trying to provoke us with religion. But we aren’t fools anymore. We’ve buried too many under the false dream of ‘azaadi’ that Pakistan sold us. We want peace. We want jobs. We want life. Not jihad.

Social media is flooded with their propaganda. They claim atrocities, they show doctored videos, and they fan communal hatred. But the youth of Kashmir has woken up. We are reclaiming our minds. Pakistan gave us nothing but war, and we are saying: never again.
Mohammad Yunus, retired teacher from Pulwama:
Three generations of Kashmiris lie in graves, and one nation is responsible—Pakistan. They sowed violence, harvested militants, and exported death. Now they cry crocodile tears while bombing our homes. We won’t be fooled again.
