DC Budgam assesses progress on construction of 125-bedded New Distt Hospital, 100-bedded Cr. Care Unit

BUDGAM : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, today visited the construction site of the 125-bedded District Hospital and the 100-bedded Critical Care Unit at Reshipora Budgam to review the ongoing progress of the work.
During the inspection, DC reviewed various components of the under-construction health infrastructure and took stock of the pace and quality of the work. He expressed satisfaction over the acceleration in construction activities and appreciated the coordinated efforts of all concerned departments and agencies involved in the execution of these important projects.
He also took overview of the significant progress made on-site. The plinth beam, ground floor column, and ground floor slab have all been completed. Additionally, the first floor column and slab, along with the second floor column, have also been completed. Work on the formwork and reinforcement for the second floor slab is currently in progress. The overall physical progress of the work now has substantial progress.
DC reiterated the importance of timely completion of both the district hospital and the critical care unit, noting that these projects are vital for strengthening the healthcare infrastructure of Budgam.
He emphasized that the administration is committed to providing quality healthcare facilities to the residents and that regular monitoring and multi-departmental coordination are being ensured to address any issues in real time and to maintain the momentum of progress.
He stated that both projects are progressing on schedule and that all departments involved are working in a focused manner to ensure early completion. Upon completion, these facilities will play a crucial role in delivering advanced medical care, including specialized and critical services, to the people of Budgam.
DC was accompanied by the Chief Planning Officer Budgam, Chief Medical Officer Budgam, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Budgam, SE & Executive Engineers of R&B, AEEs, and representatives of the executing agencies.
