DC Kulgam reviews District CAPEX Directs focus on developing tangible assets, timely execution

KULGAM : District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Thursday chaired a meeting to review the progress of District CAPEX budget 2024-25 and preparations for the formulation of District CAPEX budget 2025-26.
During the meeting, DC reviewed sector wise financial and physical progress under District CAPEX Budget 2024-25 including PWD, Irrigation and Flood Control, Education, Health, Social Welfare, RDD, DYSSO, UDD, PHE, PDD and Agriculture allied departments.
Meeting was informed that out of 2619 approved works under District CAPEX 2024-25, 2129 were completed which amounts to 85% expenditure by the end of March 2025.
DC took a detailed stock of the progress of ongoing works, plan expenditure incurred during 2024-25, identification of new proposals for 2025-26 and convergence plan.
He directed the concerned departments to ensure timely and effective execution of all approved projects without any delay.
Among others, the meeting was attended by CPO Zahid Sajad; ACD Reyaz Ahmad Shah; DPO, CMO, CEO, CAO, DSHO, Executive Engineers of different wings, BDOs and other concerned.
