The event showcased the exceptional creativity of students who transformed everyday waste materials into innovative and purposeful models. Organized under the leadership ofAijaz Ahmad Khan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Municipal Council Bandipora, the exhibition aimed to spread awareness about sustainability, waste management, and the importance of reusing resources.

Students presented models crafted from plastic bottles, discarded newspapers, broken household items, used CDs, metal scraps, and other recyclable materials. The exhibits ranged from eco-friendly homes and solar-powered devices to decorative art and water conservation systems — each carrying a powerful environmental message.

A panel of judges comprising subject experts, educators, and municipal representatives evaluated the entries based on creativity, use of waste materials, environmental relevance, presentation, and practicality. Participants confidently explained the inspiration and utility behind their models, leaving a lasting impression on both the jury and the audience.

The exhibition was attended by teachers, sanitation staff, local residents, media personnel, and several dignitaries, who lauded the students’ efforts and encouraged continued commitment to environmental causes.

In his concluding remarks, CEO Aijaz Ahmad Khan extended heartfelt thanks to the participating schools, students, teachers, sanitation workers, and the organizing team. He emphasized the importance of such platforms in nurturing responsible citizenship and environmental stewardship.

> “Bandipora is brimming with talent. Today’s exhibition is a testament to the creativity and awareness of our youth. Events like these show that even waste can be a source of wonder when seen through the lens of innovation,” Khan stated.
