Bandipora : In a commendable step towards environmental awareness and youth engagement, the Municipal Council Bandipora on Tuesday organized a unique exhibition titled “Waste to Wonder” at Town Hall Bandipora, drawing participation from schools across the district.
The event showcased the exceptional creativity of students who transformed everyday waste materials into innovative and purposeful models. Organized under the leadership ofAijaz Ahmad Khan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Municipal Council Bandipora, the exhibition aimed to spread awareness about sustainability, waste management, and the importance of reusing resources.
Students presented models crafted from plastic bottles, discarded newspapers, broken household items, used CDs, metal scraps, and other recyclable materials. The exhibits ranged from eco-friendly homes and solar-powered devices to decorative art and water conservation systems — each carrying a powerful environmental message.

Participants confidently explained the inspiration and utility behind their models, leaving a lasting impression on both the jury and the audience.
