Police Awantipora along with Security Forces conducted a Mock drill ahead of SANJY-2025

Awantipora : In view of upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra(SANJY-2025), a comprehensive mock drill was successfully carried out today by Police Awantipora along with other security forces viz RR, CRPF, JKAP and other sister agencies at various locations across Police District Awantipora especially on NH-44 stretch. The drill aimed to assess the preparedness and coordination between various agencies responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure conduct of the SANJY-2025.

SSP Awantipora supervised the exercises, which tested the efficiency of communication systems, emergency evacuation procedures, and the overall effectiveness of the security arrangements. The proactive exercises aimed focusing on key security measures, including anti-terrorism, law and order, and anti-IED protocols etc. The exercises concluded with a debriefing session where minor shortcomings were pointed out for rectification.
