DC Kupwara review progress under PMAY-Urban 2.0 in Kupwara

Kupwara : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan, today chaired the District Level Committee meeting to review progress on Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0) in the Mini Meeting Hall of DC office kupwara . The meeting focused on scrutinizing applications received through the Unified Web Portal and assessing implementation status.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Fareed-ud-Din, ACR Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad, Tehsildars Kupwara,Hundwara,Langate, CEOs M.C Kupwara, Hundwara , Langate along with other concerned officers.
During the review, DC Kupwara examined the status of 538 applications received under the scheme, out of which 68 cases have been approved so far. She directed concerned officers to reach out to every pending beneficiary within the next two days, compiling detailed Excel reports documenting case-specific hurdles including reasons for non-responsive applicants within a week’s time.
Further, she instructed officers to conduct rigorous field verification of pending cases while ensuring genuine beneficiaries aren’t excluded due to procedural delays. She stressed inter-departmental coordination for swift case disposal, warning against any lapses in accountability during scrutiny of the remaining applications
