Residential House Gutted in Devastating Fire at Takia Bahadurkote, Family Left Homeless Karnah

Kupwara : A tragic fire incident late Wednesday night reduced a residential house belonging to Ali Haider Shah of Takia Bahadurkote, Karnah, to ashes.
According to local sources, the blaze completely destroyed the structure, leaving the poor family homeless and devastated.Fortunately, no loss of human life has been reported.
However, all household goods, clothing, and essential belongings were consumed by the flames. Villagers and neighbors swiftly reached the spot, joined efforts to extinguish the fire, and extended immediate support to the affected family.Officials said the fire was brought under control after assistance reached from the five service point keeper. The cause of the fire is being investigated, though preliminary inputs suggest it may have resulted from an electrical short circuit.Meanwhile, locals have appealed to the administration for urgent relief assistance to help Ali Haider Shah rebuild his home and livelihood. Responding to the tragedy, MLA Karnah Javid Marchal stated that he has taken up the matter with the concerned authorities for immediate rehabilitation of the fire victims. He further assured that relief from the Chief Minister’s Disaster Management Cell will be provided accordingly, expressing gratitude to Allah for the safety of human lives in the incident.
