Kupwara : As per the Plan of Action and Calendar of Activities for the month of April 2026, the Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Tangdhar, under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority Kupwara, vide Order No. DLSA/KUP/2026/10 dated 27.04.2026, today organized a Legal Awareness Programme on Child-Friendly Legal Services Schemes, 2024 at Orient Public School, Khowarpara, Tangdhar.
The programme was conducted under the directions of the Chairman, TLSC Tangdhar/Munsiff Tangdhar, Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Mir. On the occasion, Resource Person Adv. Waqar Ahmad delivered an informative session, highlighting the importance of creating a child-friendly environment for the proper nourishment, protection, and development of children, along with awareness about legal safeguards available to them.
The Principal of Orient Public School, along with the teaching staff, also shared their views and emphasized key aspects related to child protection, rights, and the role of institutions in ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for students.
The programme witnessed active participation from students and staff and was successfully organized through the dedicated efforts of Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs), namely Khawaja Arshad Ahmed, Akhlaq Hussain, and Mohd Sadeeq Khokhar.
The event concluded with a note of appreciation for all participants and organizers for their valuable contributions toward promoting legal awareness among children.
