He said the victims had travelled far from their homes only to earn an honest livelihood and support their families, making the attack all the more tragic and unacceptable.

“Islam upholds the sanctity of every innocent human life. The killing of innocent people is not only a grave sin but a direct assault on the values of humanity, justice and compassion. Those who target innocent civilians have no moral or religious justification for their actions.”

Javid Mir said violence has never brought lasting peace and only deepens grief, fear and division. He stressed that the future of South Asia must be built on accommodation, dialogue, mutual respect and constructive engagement—not on bloodshed and hatred.

He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls, while urging all sections of society to stand united against violence in all its forms.
