Kupwara Police Attaches Property of Drug peddler in Karnah Under NDPS Act

Kupwara : Continuing its sustained crackdown against drug trafficking and the illicit proceeds generated through the narcotics trade, Kupwara Police today attached a residential house belonging to a drug trafficker under relevant section of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The property, belonging to Mukhtar Ahmad Qurashi S/o Gh. Rasool Qurashi, R/o Qurashi Mohalla, Taad, Karnah, District Kupwara, has been attached in accordance with the provisions of the NDPS Act.
Kupwara Police reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards drug trafficking and related criminal activities and warned that stringent legal action will be taken against individuals involved in the cultivation, possession, transportation, sale or trafficking of narcotic substances.
