Sub District Hospital Kupwara celebrates completion of 100 percent Ist vaccination dose

Celebrating the vaccination success on, Sub district hospital Kupwara celebrated 100 percent completion drive of Ist vaccination dose in the district on Thursday.
On the occasion DAK President Kupwara DR Ajaz bhat said that with joint efforts of health workers, media, district administration and other stakeholders we have fulfilled the target and we are happy today for achieving the mile.
On the occasion he appealed the general public of the district to come forward and get second dose without any threat and appeal them that Covid protocol should be followed continuously so as to curb the pandemic.

Pertinent to mention that Government of India desired that the day be observed as a milestone in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. A circular was issued by DHSK in reference to the circular of Director General, Family Welfare MCH and Immunisation, which said it will be a landmark occasion for J&K in particular as the date of achieving 100% vaccination among 18 years+ age group within the UT and is also expected to coincide with the one billion vaccination mark across India.
