Expressing his concern over increasing unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir from the last three years, Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister Usman Majid has demanded age relaxation for the youth of J&K in the forthcoming Sup-Inspector recruitment.

Usman Majid today vehemently supported the demands of the unemployed educated youth regarding relaxation of recruitment age for the posts of Sub Inspectors in Jammu and Kashmir Police from 28 years to 35 years.

Since the Government has granted one time age relaxation in JKPC (KPS) exams from 32 years to 37 years, the same relaxation should be given to aspirants of SI posts in J&K Police”, Majid said, adding since the administration has notified 800 SI posts for recruitment, the relaxation is all the more imperative.

Majid said that the aspiring candidates who want to appear in SI examination should be given special age relaxation keeping in view their situation in the union territory so that the energy of the youth is channelized towards the right direction.

Majid appealed to the Lt. Governor that the youth aspiring for the Sub-Inspector post should be given relaxation who have surpassed the age barrier.
