Meet Masroor Muzaffar,  youngest poet from Kashmir to won prestigious National yuva puruskaar award for his first poetry collection.

Mr masroor muzaffar famous poet, critic  and phd scholar from north kashmirs small village kralpora which is ten kms away from pattan town district barmullah .He got his primary education from Mohammadia School English medium Hardushora, Graduation from amarsingh college ,post graduation from kashmir University and is currently pursuing Phd In kashmiri literature from Aligarh Muslim University. at very early age he lost his mother. He was in sixth class when lost the support of his mother and the pain was so unbearable which became the main reason to pen down the poetry in kashmiri language.He faced many odds and sufferings during his education but did not give up and kept his passion continue to become a successful kashmiri poet. Masroor muzaffar got indian  excellence award for his kashmiri poetry , in 2020 ,he became first poet from kashmir on which indian high commission made documentary on in 2017,  he won two district level poetic compositions held in tangmarg and Srinagar and also got second position in state level  writers competition in 2020 organised by firaq foundation ,
Masroor muzafar sab being a kashmiri poet and research scholar  had participated in many national and  international conferences and seminars. He published his first book in 2017 Wavech Baavath (expression of wind) which won National yuva puruskaar award.his two more books are under the publication .Masroor Muzaffar is currently working as General secretary of Humsukhan Cultural forum ,the famous literary forum of kashmir. and a general council member of adbi markaz kamraz (The largest Literacy forum of kashmir valley.) @speakkashmir.
