Gbl resident alleges breach of his bank account privacy.

Says employees have provided his account statement to unknown persons, demands probe.

Ganderbal, Mar 01 : Alleging breach of his bank account privacy, a man hailing from Duderham area of Ganderbal district here has demanded investigation into the matter.

Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Peerzada Touseef Ahmad alleged that employees at J&K Bank in his locality have breached the privacy of his account as the officials have provided his account statements to unknown people.

Besides his personal accounts, the employees have also issued a statement of his grandmother’s pension account for which he is power of attorney holder.

Though, he has filed a complaint in this regard before the Crime Branch and served a legal notice to the bank authorities but according to him nothing has been done so far.

He appealed to the Lieutenant Governor and the higher authorities of the Bank to intervene into the matter and bring him out from mental trauma and insecurity he is facing due to the irresponsible act of bank employees.

Peerzada Touseef Ahmed further demanded that the matter must be investigated and those involved should be dealt with strictly—(KNO)
