Budgam Police arrests 03 persons and seized JCB Machine, 02 Tippers for illegal excavation & transportation of minerals

Police Station Chadoora intercepted one JCB machine and two tippers excavating soil/sand from Government Land at Kralpora Chadoora, 03 persons were arrested on spot and one JCB machine and two tippers seized.The arrested persons have been identified as:-

1.Aijaz Ahmed Sheikh son of Mohd Sidiq resident of Check Paharoo
2. Aijaz Ahmed Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani resident of Darambugh Kralpora
3.Abid Ahmad Teli son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Dharambugh Kralpora
Registration numbers of seized tippers/JCB is JK03G 4496,JK03B 0156, JK03 7594

Case FIR number 170/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Stations  Chadoora and investigation taken up.

Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt with as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with their concerned police units.
