Kupwara Terriers Organised Run For Unity At Gulgam Kupwara

To commemorate national unity day a unity run was organised by Indian Army’s Kupwara Terriers at Gulgam, Kupwara.

150 school students (incl boys and girls) from Class 8 till 11 participated in the unity run which was flagged off from Army Goodwill School, Wayne till Gulgam Company location of Kupwara Terriers.

The children were thrilled to be part of the run, finisher medals were given to top 12 participants. Oath of Unity was taken by all participants followed by refreshments.

National Unity day is celebrated every year since 2014 on 31 October to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel who had a major role in the political integration of India.
