Two day health conclave – Jashn-e-sehat was inaugurated by LG Jammu and kashmir Sh Manoj Sinha in Jammu . Aim of this conclave is to celebrate people’s right to health and sort future health roadmap and plan for better health services delivery. He said that we have ensured every citizens who is in need of medical treatment is treated with dignity and respect . For 67 years, J&K residents faced persistent healthcare neglect, no health insurance, he added.

It is pertinent to mention here that the healthcare infrastructure changed dramatically since 2014 . Prime Minister is very keen in changing the health sector in Jammu and kashmir . PM gave 07 medical colleges, 02 AIIMS , 10 nursing colleges and Rs 7,700 crores worth of projects to UT to create the best medical institutions.
