Kupwara: An 11-year old Lolab girl has outshined and has brought laurels to the entire J&K UR, after winning a Gold medal in Goa International Karate Championship held at Mapusa Goa.

Aisha Binti Ramzan, daughter of Mohd Ramzan Bhat, basically from Kuligam Lolab, about 16-kms away from its district headquarter Kupwara, has won gold medal in International Karate Championship held in Goa. Aisha is undergoing study in class 5th in Army Goodwill School Krusan Lolab.

Aisha, while communicating with media said “I was in 5th standard when I begin this Journey. My family members including my father supported and guided me at every point of level”, adding “this all happened because of my parents”,

She said that, she has played this game at different locations like Srinagar, Sopore even in Jammu as well. I’m too much excited as i won this gold medal recently in a championship held in Goa. It was my dream to represent J&K at International level which finally has met. “I have seen such parents who are not cooperating and supporting their daughters to go ahead. My personal experience for those parents is to support their daughters for their succesful life”, she added,

While replying to a question about, what Aisha is going to become, she said that “My dream is to become pilot but as of now, I would love to carry this mission forward and will decide with the passage of time,

“I unequivocally thank to my parents, family members, friends and relatives for their positive role. When you have family members supportive cum cooperative, you can achieve bigger than this”, Aisha further said,

Meanwhile, many delegations have extended heartiest greetings to Aisha for achieving this feat and has prayed for her future endeavours.
