Surankote people protest against PHE Deptt, block Jammu Poonch Highway Road

Mendhar : The people from Jogi Mohre area of Surankote In Poonch district held protest against the PHE authorities for their failure to restore the snapped water supply at Jogi Mohre and adjoining hamlets for the last about Several weeks
Reports said that the villagers from Jogi Mohre and adjoining areas assembled at the Jogi Mohre and held protest demonstration against the local PHE authorities and block Jammu Poonch highway Road.
They alleged that local PHE Sub Division at Surankote has failed to restore water supply despite repeated requests.

The villagers urged upon the higher authorities at Poonch to ensure better monitoring at lower level and ensure supply of water in the area.
Later, SHO Surankote Rajveer Singh reached the Spot and Pacificed the agitating people .The People then lifted dharna and allowed movement of traffic
