President MC Ganderbal loses floor test by 5 votes

Ganderbal : President Municipal Council Ganderbal on Wesdnesday lost the floot test after a no-confidence motion was moved against him.

An official told the news agency that Hilal Ahmad Tantry, President MC Ganderbal lost the floor test by a margin of 5 votes.

He said the councillors had moved a no-confidence motion against the incumbent president on October 25.

He said after no-confidence motion, a floor test was mandated was the incumbent president to prove his majority.

“He, however, lost the floor test today after 12 out of 17 councillors voted against him,” he said—(KNO)
