DDC Kupwara inaugurates Manigah, Shartpora-Sohipora feeders in RS Hyhama

Inspects GS-Vilgam, PHC Vilgam, Tehsil/BDO Offices

KUPWARA : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray today had a detailed tour of different areas of Kupwara district to take stock of the developmental issues of the people.

During the visit, the DDC inaugurated and started 2 feeders in Hyhama Receiving Station each for Manigah and Shartpora-Sohipora areas. DDC Member Hyhama, Haji Sonaullah Khan, DDC Member Drugmulla, Amina Majeed, SE PDD, Mumtaz Ahmad, XEN PDD, Shamim Ahmad, besides, PDD officials, PRIs and people were present at the occasion.

On the occasion, it was informed that the starting of these two feeders will improve the overall power scenario of Hyhama which will provide a major relief to the people of the area.

Meanwhile, the people expressed their gratitude towards the District Development Commissioner and PDD for resolving their long pending demand.

Earlier, the DDC visited Grid Station Vilgam and enquired about the power supply schedule in the area.

The DDC also inspected Primary Health Centre Vilgam where he checked the attendance of medical and hospital staff and interacted with the patients and doctors. He also inspected Tehsil Office and BDO Office Vilgam.

During his visit, the DDC met various public delegations and heard their day to day developmental issues and various issues were resolved on the spot.
