Mata Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Committee, Tikker on Thursday extended its heartfelt gratitude to District Administration Kupwara for facilitating the Sharda Chariot Yatra.

“Mata Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Committee, Tikkar (Kupwara) is very thankful to District Administration Kupwara and Relief & Rehabilitation Organisation Jammu for providing excellent support to the Asthapan Committee in organizing and hosting recent Sharda Chariot Yatra at Tikkar Kupwara”, reads a statement issued here.

“The logistic support and the facilities provided to the organisers and the yatries were excellent, and the support by the technical and administrative staff was outstanding. The efforts were made by Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattarray, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara and Sh. K.K.Sidha, Relief Commissioner (M) J&K and the officers below the line will certainly contribute substantially to the mission of Mata Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Committee, Tikkar to restore the glory of the world famous Shrine of Mata Kheer Bhawani, Tikkar, to recreate this Shakti Sathal into a big pilgrimage centre in North Kashmir and also to re-open this Asthapan as Base Camp of Annual Mata Sharda Yatra as was used to be upto 1947”, reads the statement.

“Mata Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Committee, Tikkar put on record appreciation and gratitude to District Administration Kupwara and the Relief Organisation (M) Jammu for the gracious hospitality and professionalism shown by the officers connected with the Yatra at Tikkar. Such support means so much to Mata Kheer Bhawani Asthappan, Tikkar (Kupwara) and the Committee members hope for similar cooperation in future too”, the statement further read.
