BUDGAM : Valedictory function of 15 days Skill Development Programme on Profitable Poultry Rearing was organized on Wednesday at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Budgam.
About 48 farmers from Aspirational Blocks of Surasyar and Pakherpora of district Budgam participated in a programme conducted under Aspirational Block Development programme 2022-23 by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Budgam in collaboration with Animal Husbandry Department Budgam.
The training programme was aimed to build entrepreneurial mindset among the youth and develop their skills so that they can launch their own business ventures.
Sr. Scientist & Head KVK Budgam Dr. Bilal Ahmad Lone stressed on the need of skill development in self employment generation. He further emphasized on the need of using scientific practices in improving the livelihood of farmers.
During the valedictory programme, Dr. Mir Nadeem Hassan (Course Coordinator) presented an overview of the training.
On the occasion, participation certificates and poultry birds were also distributed among the trainees.
The programme was also attended by Scientists of the Kendra, officials of Animal Husbandry department Budgam.
