Bemina-based orphanage Al Fallah Yateem Trust in unison with ‘TRK News’ hosted an Iftar (Break-fast) session for the people at the latter’s office here at Bemina on Tuesday.
The event was attended by esteemed personalities including Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, senior BJP leader and CEO of TRK media house Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah, Editor-in-Chief TRK News Yana Mir besides senior BJP leaders Manzoor Bhat and Mir Aasim.
The dignitaries exchanged pleasantries with the underprivileged and orphans and also distributed among them gifts in a bid to buoy and encourage them to become assets for their society.
Al-Falah Yateem Trust and TRK News have been partnering on various initiatives to help the underprivileged sections of the society. The Iftar session was held in extension of the continued efforts to contribute to the welfare of the community.
The successful conduct of the Iftar session has reinforced the commitment of the two independent bodies towards their corporate social responsibility and their vision to make a difference in the community.
