Opinion | Photography – The Quest for A Passion!

As we all share global commons, it is obviously paving a clue to find the roots. I am personally in view of the fact that a “picture” wherever we find has a lot to say. People’s intentions give it the resemblance; it is the perception of the lovers to reveal the hidden meaning of art.

I am eager to share this art through print as my passion; my words bereft with everything, except photography. As an art, if someone knows this he is supposed to be recognized as an artist but people who are solely linked to nature create the art.

This is Irfan Baba a native photographic artist from Jammu and Kashmir fortunately facing 21^st century. I have been witnessing from the last few years a boom in this field. Keeping the flourishing sequel apart, I intend to pay your keen attention towards the move that the field has a strategic importance in revealing diversification of this colorful world. It actually denotes the divine authority of nature, the creation of divinity and henceforth the evens and odds we have created.

As a blessing bestowed by Almighty I acquire the wit to be a part of this field. I found tranquility in being so, it enriches my self-esteem, pleasure and passion. There evolves a question whether the field is nourished well by the public sector as private or not?

The answer is quite simple, privately photographers show a pace but in the public sector there’re less avenues of job seeking.

Remedies:

• Photography as a subject needs to be taught after elementary education.
• Awareness camps/events/photo-walks through seminars and programs are conducted at community as well as national level.
• ITI colleges where photography be implemented as a core discipline need to be established.
• Hence less choice but huge demand cannot fulfill the requirements constantly.

There is a dire need to focus on the said issue cited above. As a member of the photographic community I urge the Govt. as well as private companies to provide impetus to the field, this field has a long run to go, if treated positively.

To quote Allama Iqbal’s (RA) saying;

You are the great Falcon, your passion is flight

Look ahead; there are more skies to transcend

Hope this may help in paving way to positive sequel
