Block Diwas: DC presides over Grievance Redressal camp at D.H.Pora

KULGAM : Continuing the initiative of special public outreach programme of LG’s Administration under weekly Block Diwas, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a public grievance camp at Block D.H Pora and listened to issues and demands of the people for early redressal.

On the occasion PRIs and delegations of people from Nagam, Boh, Chimmer, Ahmadabad, D.K.Marg, Kounsarbal and other areas participated in this grievance redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues and developmental requirements of their areas.

During the proceedings, the DC gave a patient hearing to all the grievances and demands that were put forth by the PRIs and concerned stakeholders and redressed various issues of emergent nature on the spot.

Officers from various departments who were also present responded to the queries and issues raised by the people.

The DC instructed the concerned to start Macademisation of approved road length in the area at an earliest.

The concerned from Jal Shakti Department were instructed to ensure achievement of a set target of 75 percent up to ending June 2023 under JJM.

Earlier, ACD Mohammad Imran Khan briefed about the action taken on the issue and demands raised during previous block diwas by the people.

ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, SDM Noorabad Bashir Ul Hassan, ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz, ACD Mohammad Imran, CEO, CMO, Executive Engineers from R&B, Jal Shakti and other officers also remained available at the grievances redressal camp.

Grievances redressal camps were also held at Kulgam and Devsar where officers remained available to listen to issues of people.
