Climate change is a long-term change in the average weather patterns that have come to define Earth’s local, regional and global climates. It is also a global phenomenon of climate transformation. It characterized the changes in climate such as global warming, it also regards temperature, precipitation, and wind as all caused by human activities. As global warming is part of climate change it refers to the rising temperature of Earth that is caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Over the years climate change has become a defining crisis threatening the survival of human life. It has brought terrible implications in every part of the planet earth. According to the United Nations, the extraction of coal, oil, and gas releases billions of tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere every year. Also, human activity is producing record-high levels of greenhouse gas emissions, with no indications of slowing down in the future. The impacts of climate change need special attention and efforts are needed in negotiating the global climate change crisis that can help in the preservation of the earth and its environment. Ever since man set his foot on the path of research and discovery he left hardly anything untouched. The way new branches of knowledge and information are growing can be described as no less than a miracle. The objects or tasks which were considered impossible and unattainable stand conquered. However this exploration has put the earth at stake and our environment well.” as well. The deterioration is going on continuously and has s now not only put our own survival in danger but the fate of the earth itself is in jeopardy. The ever increasing dependability on the non renewable resources of irreparable rces of energy has done an irreparable damage to our environment. The gases emanating from them have depleted the ozone layer and also increased the presence of the harmful gases.

The need of the hour is to make people aware about their role and contribution they can make towards the protection of earth. It is an important issue confronted by the people all over the world. Not only should our efforts be at national and global level, but more importantly at local level, because the problem is all pervasive. It isn’t too late to come forward and do something. As already mentioned it is a global phenomenon which requires the efforts of each one of us and thereby foster a change in the whole world. Perhaps there is an important role which can be played by the student community in sensitizing the society about this grave issue confronting planet earth. Climate change and environmental degradation are two pressing challenges that humanity is facing today.
We, humans, sometimes forget what would happen in the future if we did something wrong against our environment, such as throwing trash anywhere, burning waste, and a lot more. We forget to think carefully about these things and neglect the other factors it carries. Globally, the deterioration of our environment has been a problem, and we are the leading contributor causing extinctions, depletion, and destruction of our ecology with these climate changes. Unless sincere efforts are not put in place to counter the climate crises; organizing seminars and framing global climate change agreements are less likely to help the cause. All the nations across the globe should take concrete steps to curb the serious impacts of climate change on human society. The selfishness of human beings to live a comfortable life & making the environment contaminated . Climate change is a pressing issue that affects us all. It refers to the long-term changes in global temperatures, precipitation patterns, and other weather patterns that have been observed over the past century. These changes are largely the result of human activity, particularly the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas. As we continue to emit greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, we are warming the planet and causing a host of negative consequences.
One of the most significant consequences of climate change is rising sea levels. As the planet warms, the polar ice caps are melting, and the oceans are expanding. This means that sea levels are rising, which is already causing problems for low-lying areas and coastal cities. In some places, sea levels have risen so much that they are flooding streets and homes, and in others, they are causing saltwater to contaminate freshwater supplies.
Another significant consequence of climate change is more frequent and more severe weather events. As the planet warms, it is causing more energy to be stored in the atmosphere, which can lead to more intense storms, hurricanes, and other weather events. This can cause flooding, landslides, and other natural disasters, which can be devastating for people and communities.
Climate change is also having a significant impact on agriculture and food production. As temperatures rise, it can cause crops to fail, and it can make it more difficult to grow food in certain areas. This can lead to food shortages, which can be particularly challenging for people living in poverty or in areas that are already experiencing food insecurity.
Finally, climate change is having a significant impact on biodiversity and ecosystems. As temperatures rise, it can cause habitats to shift, and it can lead to the extinction of certain species. This can have a ripple effect throughout ecosystems, which can be challenging to predict or manage.
There are many things that we can do to address climate change. One of the most significant things we can do is to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. This can be done by using renewable energy sources like solar and wind power, by using public transportation or electric cars instead of driving, and by reducing our consumption of meat and dairy.
Another important thing we can do is to support policies that address climate change. This can include policies that encourage the use of renewable energy, that put a price on carbon emissions, or that incentivize companies to reduce their emissions.
Finally, we can all make small changes in our daily lives to help address climate change. This can include things like using reusable bags and water bottles, reducing our energy consumption.
