Police station Lalpora Organises “Tiranga Rally” In Lalpora

Kupwara : In a bid to show the respect and acknowledge the martyrs of freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for a noble cause, police post Lalpora on Wednesday morning organised a ‘Tiranga Rally’ here in Lalpora.

As a part of “Meri Maati Meera Desh” campaign, The tiranga rally begins from the police station Lalpora and culminated at main market Lalpora. The rally was led by SHO Lalpora Malik Naseer and was joined by the 162-Battalion CRPF, eminent citizens of the area, students of Govt Hr Sec School Lalpora, Sarpanchs and other stakeholders.

The aim and objective of the rally was to honour and to respect the martyrs of freedom strugglers. The “Tiranga Rally” will continue till independence day.

The officer in the meantime has requested the people to take actively part and support the campaign in making it successful.
